Welcome

Welcome to the UCL Doctoral Training Centre in Urban Sustainability & Resilience.

Our centre provides funding opportunities (worth £10.7M overall) for industry to carry out sustainability and resilience research with UCL. The centre offers students the chance to study for their doctorates in well resourced and well financed projects, designed in collaboration with industry.

An Engineering Doctorate (EngD) is an enhanced PhD designed by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council to provide a new generation of outstanding research engineers. Overall the centre will fund at least 61 EngD projects.

In 2013 we will offer a stand-alone MRes in Urban Sustainability & Resilience.
